Sun-Centered System

Sun-Centered System
   A theory which states that the Sun is a fixed body at the center of our solar system, and all the other planets revolve around it. This theory was first presented by the Greek, Aristarchus of Samos in the third century BC. Also called the Heliocentric Theory. See Geocentric Theory, Pythagoras, Ptolemaic Theory and Copernicus, Nicolaus.
